Herman has had the pleasure of watching Lafayette Restaurant Supply grow from a small company his uncle and father built, to a very prosperous and competitive food service dealer over the years. In 1974, fresh out of college, he began his journey with the company assisting with deliveries. Eventually, he was moved over to sales where he completed a sales route, building his customers. In 1982, he took over the company from his father. He has greatly assisted in growing Lafayette Restaurant Supply to the competitive dealer it is today. When he is not hunting or fishing, Herman remains involved with his family's company, even through retirement, assisting with larger projects as needed.
